Key Features
- Mud Buddy HDR 40 and HDR 5000: The River Warrior runs equally as well with an outboard or the Mud Buddy shallow water motors. If you run very shallow water, you will want the Mud Buddy. The 1651 is best fitted with a 40 HDR and the 17' with the new 5000 HDR.
- River Warrior Loaded Layout: Front front to rear, we loaded this boat with the features you will need. Front troll motor mount, side gun and rod box, right side tray for rod and gun, huge front deck dry storage, full floor, trash can, gunwale accessory slots, twin level front deck, etc.
- Rear Step: The River Warrior features twin rear corner steps for easy access in the driveway or from the marsh. Also makes good access for your retriever.
- Cutoff Switch: The convenient rear port cutoff switch provides easy access from your driveway or the marsh to completely disconnect the battery when the boat is not in use. No more dead batteries after leaving your lights or accessories on while hunting or in storage.
- Drain Plug Holder: Have you ever played hide and seek with your drain plug - no more. Such a simple thing but so cool to have on your boat. Like we said, "we try to think of everything."
- Plano Tackle Storage Area: The front deck storage areas has two deep trays that are sized to fit 6 Plano tackle storage boxes. The trays can also be used to hold other items like a plastic ammo box for tools, shells, etc.
- Phone Storage: This is a must for every boat. Your phone is safely secured next to your seat. The light on many phones can easily light up your boat.
- Front Deck Twin Storage Trays: We try to think of everything when we build our boats. The front deck dry storage box has twin inner trays that can be used to hold 6 each Plano 3700 tackle trays, two motion decoys, and even your shells.
- Side Tray: The open starboard side tray is a great place to set your gun, spud poles etc. The tray has a built in rod tube so your rod (up to 8') is securely protected.
- Dry Rod and Gun Storage: The port-side dry storage box features enough room for gear, gun, has two rod tubes, and securely latches for trailering.
- Front Deck Rope and Decoy Ring: The twin level front deck is great for fishing, for storage and off course - since we use these boats, we try to think of everything - even the welded front deck decoy ring/rope tie that securely holds your spread in place ready for the hunt.
- Trash Can/Accessory Vault: Located near the front port side deck, the handy trash can is a great place for empty shells, trash, fishing gear and off course your decoy wings.
- Camo Seat Option: This Optifade camo seat cover option is a great add to your boat. The seats come in both Optifade Marsh and Timber patterns. As most customers know, Optifade is exclusive to Excel and Mud Buddy and Sitka clothing gear products. The seats are a perfect addition to your Sitka clothing and Excel/MudBuddy boat.
- Spud Pole Holes Bow and Aft: Again, we thought of everything for this loaded boat. Spud pole holes are provided on the front starboard side and the aft port side on the rear corner step. The holes will accept most all major brand metal and spud poles.
